The long-awaited [Basecamp]1 API was just launched. There’s a nifty [Ruby wrapper]2 available already, which uses serialized Yaml packets rather than the usual XML, making things even easier.

Jack,
One thing I did to make that even faster is setup a Quicksilver trigger for the KGTD script.
1) Create a new trigger
2) in the first pane start in your home folder and navigate to the KGTD inbox script (Library->Application Support->Quicksilver->Actions
3) hit tab (the middle pane should be (process text)
4) leave the third pane empty
I set mine up so CTRL+Space activates it.

Not bad! I’ve not gotten too involved with triggers yet. I’m afraid of losing days of my life tweaking the crap outta everything. Just this one can’t hurt, right?
